About the Program

Bachelor of Computer Science and Information Technology (BSC.CSIT) at the College of Applied Business (CAB) is affiliated with the Tribhuvan University (TU). It is a 4-year course associated with the computer science and the information technology. This course aims to make students able to solve real-world problems using the help of the computer science and the information technology. At the CAB, students will be involved in many practical works aside from their regular course lectures and assignments.

After the completion of this course, the students will be capable of fulfilling different positions related to the information technology. They can work as a programmer, database administrator, network administrator, and more. The graduates also have the option to pursue their master degree right away after completing this course.


Eligibility

Eligibility and admission procedure

The students who wish to apply for the BSC.CSIT course must have completed at least 12 years of formal schooling. They are required to complete their 10 plus 2 or equivalent scoring 55%. Here is the admission procedure for getting an admission.

  • Application form: The first process of getting an admission is to get an application form from the college, which costs Rs.500. The students must submit all the required copies of academic certificates to the college during the time of submission.
  • Entrance test: The students must appear in the entrance exam, and they should do well to have a better chance of selection.
  • Interview: After the students have cleared their entrance exam, the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview with the faculty members.

The selected students will need to pay the required amounts after they successfully complete the admission procedure.
