To join Bachelor degree in Engineering in TU one must have completed +2 with Mathematics as a Major. However, Purbanchal University (PU) does not have such requirements. Students from biology as a Major and without Mathematics can even join Engineering study. Moreover, to join TU affiliated engineering colleges in Nepal one must appear for entrance examinations conducted by Institute of Engineering (IOE) and should have passed the exam.
