Overview
Xavier International is an academic institute that is driven with a vision “Our student will be an inspirational role model for a better world”. The institute is aligned with the principles of United Nations for promotion of peaceful solutions to problems, develop friendly relations among children and adults of different nationalities and promote cooperation in problem solving in economic, social, cultural and humanitarian manners. Encourage respect for fundamental freedom and equality for all with no discriminations. Apart from curriculum the management also fosters upon co-curricular activities like singing, dancing, acting etc. The college offers programs in BSW (Bachelors in Social Work), BBS (Bachelors in Business Studies), B.A (Bachelors of Arts), B. Sc Microbiology and B. Sc Environment. The education delivery is based on articulated Xavier International Teaching and Learning Principles. On the spirits of ‘Teach less learn more” philosophy the college imply policies of curriculum decision, curriculum planning, curriculum support and curriculum rigor. Our team visited the college and interacted with the students. They had finished their class and were in a light and jovial mood. Some of them gathered and sang “Yo mann ta mero Nepali ho”. The students showed patriotic feelings for our nation. It is not only the course studies that shape the students but it is with harmony and peace they can strive ahead and co-curricular activities help to groom their thought process. At college interactions and participation is very crucial to reap the benefits of education and the students are just seen doing that. Xavier Int. stands true to their principles and we hope to become part of their annual day functions and milieu for an exchange of culture and knowledge. The college also marks events such as HISSAN Basketball champions, rally for social work, gender issues such as awareness for girl education. Xavier International College is centrally located at Kalopul, Kathmandu. Students who earn Xavier International certificates are accepted for enrollment at Universities and other postsecondary institutions throughout the country and the rest of the world.
