Mocktails for Summer

You can hide the scorching sun with hat, shades and scarf but the sun still absorbs the water, minerals in our body. To revive the energy and to stay fresh all day, here are some recipes of cooling drinks you can try yourself this summer. Staying hydrated won’t be boring anymore.

 

Refreshing mint juice

Ingredients

4 cups of coconut water

2 cucumbers sliced very thinly

½ cup of lime juice

¼ cup of sugar

¼ cup of chopped mint leaves

 

To prepare refreshing mint juice, combine coconut water, lime juice and sugar in a jug. Leave it for few hours. Pour it in a glass; add cucumber slices and mint leaves as well. The cooling mocktail is ready.

 

Watermelon spicy juice

Ingredients

2 cups cold water

Chopped watermelon (seeds removed)

2 tbsps granulated sugar

½ tbsp lime juice

¼ cup of chopped mint leaves

Few ice cubes

 

To prepare watermelon spicy juice, combine cold water, chopped watermelon, sugar and lime juice. Grind the mixture well. Pour the mixture in the glass. Add ice cubes in the glass and garnish with chopped mint leaves.

 

Pineapple ginger beer

Ingredients

Freshly squeezed lime juice

Fresh pineapple juice

Ginger syrup

 

To prepare ginger syrup, grind the ginger. Squeeze the ginger paste and extract the juice from it. Combine all the above ingredients and mix it well. Pour it in a glass and garnish it with a lemon wedge.

 

Cold Coffee

Ingredients

1 sachet Coffee

4 tbsp granulated sugar

4 tbsp boiling water

1 cup condensed milk

2 cubes of ice

1 scoop of ice-cream

Coco powder

 

To prepare cold coffee, first take a bowl and pour 4 tbsp of hot water in it. Add 1 sachet coffee, 4 tbsp of sugar and mix it well. Then on the grinder, pour 1 cup of condensed milk and 2 cubes of ice. Grind it well and finally pour it in a glass. Add 1 scoop of ice-cream on the top and sprinkle coco powder. Your cold coffee is easily ready at home.
