Kathmandu University-School of Medical Sciences is an institution under Kathmandu University, one of the leading University in Nepal. It is located at Dhulikhel, Nepal. It launched its own MBBS program in August 2001. Within 30 years Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences have spread its academic programs in the provinces of the country from constituent and affiliated Colleges. The programs offered are Bachelor and Masters level programs in Medicine and Surgery, dental science, physiotherapy, nursing, nursing science, laboratory medicine, medical imaging technology and post graduate programs in these areas of knowledge.
Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences was established with motto quality education for leadership. It was established in 1990 and has thirty years of establishment from academic program to all provinces at constituent and affiliated Colleges of the Country. It has more than 1500 students each year enrolled in various Bachelor and Master level programs of dental, medicine, medical imaging technology, physiotherapy, laboratory medicine. It provides student centered, problem based learning, community based teaching and learning and I assure you toward delivering quality education to make responsible citizens in medical, nursing professions.
