Lincoln College

Lincoln College is located in Samakhushi, Kathmandu, Nepal, is affiliated with the Higher Secondary Board (HSEB) for the Intermediate (+2) level, and is affiliated with Tribhuvan University (TU) for a bachelor's degree. This academy is one of the most advanced academic institutions in the country, honoring the philosophy of Abraham Lincoln, and was established in 1998 AD. This college is upheld by highly skilled and leading academicians, along with experienced, dedicated professionals, lecturers from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, PU, and other professionals from abroad, to spread the light of quality education in the nation. Since its establishment, it has been delivering quality education to learners in the fields of management and technology. It is rated as one of the most popular academies in the Samakhushi area.

Lincoln College runs all four streams in +2 for Science, Management, Humanities, and Education as a part of the higher secondary level. There are currently more than 1200 students at the +2 level. At the same time, it offers three programs: Bachelors of Business Studies (BBS), Bachelors of Arts/Social Work (BA/BSW), and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) under the affiliation of Tribhuvan University, where more than 500 students are studying. It has also proposed programs like Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), Masters of Arts (MA), and Masters of Business Studies (MBS) under TU affiliation.

The principal of Lincoln College, Mr. Prakash Sharma Ghimire, says that they have set goals to provide quality education to the students in the fields of management and science at a reasonable fee. College allows students to broaden their horizons while enhancing critical skills as well. He believes that Lincoln has come up as a promising academy for providing qualitative education equivalent to international standards. Therefore, he believes that this academy gives attention to the flow of students going abroad for higher education.

Admission Procedure and Requirements

For Intermediate (+2):

The candidates must fill out the application form for admission properly and submit it along with all required documents. After submitting the required documents, you will have to go through the entrance exam held by the college, of which the date will be announced. After the entrance exam, only eligible candidates will get admission to Lincoln.

Bachelors Degree:

Admission is graded as per the applicant’s previous academic performance and entrance exam. The applicant must submit all the documents after being eligible for admission, which contain a transcript, migration, and character certificates of the previously attended institution, along with the application form and two passport-size photos.
