National College, or NACOL Nist, is among the reputed academic institutions in Kathmandu, established in 1998. The college is currently located in Khusibu, Kathmandu. The college aims to deliver practical knowledge and skills so that they are sellable in the national and international job market.
National College first got the affiliation under TU to run programs like Bachelor in Microbiology and BBS. Later on, in 2005, National College obtained affiliation to launch M.Sc. Microbiology under a Masters degree. A few years ago, it was permitted to run an M.Sc. Biotechnology degree for aspiring students.
National College has well-furnished classrooms. The college has well-maintained computer, biology, and other technological laboratories that are managed by dedicated lab technicians. The college frequently organizes educational tours and field trips.
