The National Vision Campus is located in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu. The college courses are affiliated with CTEVT (Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training) and Purbanchal University (PU). The main aim of the college is to deliver high-quality technical education as well as produce highly skilled and experienced graduates. The college offers two courses. They are:

  1. Proficiency Certificate Level Nursing (PCL Nursing) is affiliated with CTEVT.
  2. Post-Basic Bachelor in Nursing (PBN) is affiliated with Purbanchal University (PU).

Post Basic Bachelor Nursing

The Post Basic Bachelor in Nursing (PBN)is a three-year degree provided by the Purbanchal University. The course curriculum is designed to generate professional nurses with the specialty in Psychiatric, hospital, midwifery as well as in the field of community nursing.

The main objective of the program is to furnish the students with the skills in managerial and technical knowledge.

Post Basic Bachelor of Nursing

PCL Nursing

The Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) nursing is a course of study which is applicable for SEE (10th Grade) graduates. The PCL Nursing program is equivalent to the high school (+2) and is a famous, professional and universally acknowledged practical training based on scientific course.

The characteristic of PCL Nursing is sensitive, preventive, curative, disciplinary and vocational. The main objective of the course is to produce highly skilled and professional nurses for the development of the nation in health sector. The PCL Nursing is high in demand as a career option in both private as well as governmental organization. The students can get the job after attaining a certification as a registered nurse from Nepal Nursing Council(NNC).

The PCL Nursing course is designed to give the knowledge and skills which focuses on the occupation related to nursing which is carried out by intermediate level nurses.

The duration of the course is three years. This course is affiliated to CTEVT (Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training). Overall, the three year PCL Nursing course is a mixture of technical knowledge, managerial skills which is required to administer the nursing occupation and training to gain other vital qualities to achieve the goal of becoming a professional health care.
