    Overview

    Nepal Law Campus is the oldest college under the Faculty of Law affiliated to Tribhuvan University. It was established in 1954 A.D. By Prof. Ram Raj Pant and is located at the heart of Kathmandu on Exhibition Road. As the oldest institution that has been imparting legal education in the country, Nepal Law Campus has made many contributions in evolving legal education and bringing about the system of ‘rule of law’. The campus also boasts a proud history of graduates who have not only provided highest leadership for judiciary systems but also other mechanisms both nationally and internationally as well.

    The courses offered at Nepal Law Campus are taught by excellent lecturers, professors and readers with accomplished background from government, private legal and judiciary practice. The college has produced thousands of law graduates who have held the highest positions in legal and administrative sectors such as the Attorney General of Nepal, Chief Justice of Nepal, Justices of Supreme Court, judges and judicial officers in Nepal. Besides this, the graduates have also held positions in known advocates and acclaimed academicians in various renowned universities in the country and around the world.

    Nepal Law Campus offers Three year Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Five-year Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Laws (BA LLB) and Two-year Master of Laws (LLM) programs.

    Infrastructure & Facilities

    Nepal Law Campus has its own well-furnished and well-equipped library with text books, reference books, Law Journals, Gazettes, Nepal Law Reports (NLR), and e-library. Besides this, the students can visit Central Library of T.U. Kirtipur, Central Law Library Jamal, Supreme Court Library, Nepal Bar Association Library, Library of Office of the Attorney General of Nepal and Nepal Bar Council Library and Library of Ministry of Law. As additional benefits, the students are allowed access to American Information Center and SAARC Library as well. The professors, researchers and students have free access to high speed Wi-Fi Zone of Nepal Law Campus.

    Nepal Law Campus also has high quality well-furnished classrooms that are well-equipped with multimedia projectors. The campus also has a separate Moot Court room and a seminar hall. Also within the campus premises, you can find Nepal Law Campus has computer lab with latest computers and internet facility. There are indoor and outdoor games that are offered to students. The college also offers its own medical facility dispensary for the primary health services. The primary health service could be provided to all the students who require it.
