    Overview

    New Summit College was established in 2055 B.S. at Old Baneshwor, Kathmandu with higher secondary programs in Science, Management and Humanities. Since then, the college has been marching ahead in collaboration with KMC Education Network. Besides +2 level programs, the college also runs Bachelors Level Programs which is affiliated to Tribhuvan University. It is run by a team of enthusiastic and dynamic educators, consisting of scholars, educationists and professionals, and is continuously functioning in order to make New Summit College as the academic hub of the capital city.

    New Summit College is on a mission to build a legacy of excellence by providing theoretical and practical education. They have played an important role in developing future scientists, mangers and entrepreneurs through their innovative, pragmatic and value-based academic practices. Besides this, they have also been able to produce skillful human resources in the productive and professional areas.

    New Summit College has +2 and A-Levels programs. In the field of higher education (bachelor’s level), the college currently offers Bachelors in Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) and Bachelors in Business Science programs.

    Infrastructure & Facilities

    New Summit College offers various facilities to its students. Among them, the college provides up-to-date and rich library facilities to moderate the teaching-learning process. It has a wide collection of books, periodicals, videos and CD-ROMs. It has a broad collection of audiovisual materials. Besides this, more students have been using the colleges e-library facility.

    New Summit College provides separate hostel facilities for girls and boys. These hostels are facilitated with hygienic food, intensive care, study support and entertainment. As for refreshments and recreation, NSC has basketball, table-tennis, and badminton available for the students during leisure time. Various extra-curricular activities can be conducted at the college’s spacious seminar hall.

    The college also runs a number of buses for easy transportation of students within and outside the ring-road area at a very affordable rate. New Summit College also has a cafeteria that serves hygienic food and snacks to the students and staff at reasonable prices.
