Purbanchal University offers an undergraduate degree in the field of aeronautics which is termed as Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering. It is semester based course which is completed in 3 years. It comes under the division of Engineering.

The curriculum designed for this course relates to the activities involved with the aircraft such as art improvement activities, testing and technology and also the maintenance of the crafts. Along with this, the course also teaches other activities which are related to aircraft. Some of them include aerodynamic features and aspects related to it such as airfoil, control surfaces, lift and drags. Out of the two utmost division of aerospace engineering, this course of Aeronautical Engineering is one.

This course also includes the techniques and procedures explained by the two great inventors of flying machines, Leonardo Da Vinci and Wright Brothers. Furthermore, this course also provides complete knowledge of the development of visionary blueprints of modern jets.

In the course of aeronautical engineering, students are taught the foundation of math and aerospace engineering, including some other engineering competencies such as undercurrents, thermodynamics, statics and microchip technology. Additionally, this course is prepared to teach the cutting-edge aspects of aeronautics such as aero-elasticity, fluid dynamics and other theoretical knowledge which gives students to learn many things at the same time and also prepares them industry ready for the near future.

The main objective of studying Bachelor of Aeronautical Engineering is as follows:

  • To make students capable of tackling challenges and difficulties that are relevant in the field of aircraft.
  • To actively develop leadership skills that can be applied in engineering industry as well as government organizations.
  • To learn some advance technologies and encourage new innovation that helps competing in global platform successfully.
  • To provide the in-depth knowledge of design and operation of aircraft necessary in the practical field through experienced and leading professionals.
  • To produce professional aeronautical engineers having some sharp skills in physics and mathematics.

Admission Requirements

There is a certain criterion fixed for the candidates who wish to study this program. In general, the candidate must have passed higher secondary examinations in science stream with some major subjects such as Math, Physics and Chemistry.
