Siddhartha Vanasthali Science Campus

Siddhartha Vanasthali Science Campus was established in 1951 A.D. by the late honorable Vijayananadan Joshi and the late Professor Bhuwan Lal Joshi. This was housed in a two-story mud building with a tiled roof at Balaju, six kilometers from downtown Kathmandu. The first batch of students came from the founder’s family and were followed by the children of the neighborhood. Parents were skeptical about the leadership and management of the campus. However, today, Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute has maintained its reputation as the topmost school for the last 25 years on the basis of its academics, curricular activities, and physical activities and has been doing its best to satisfy the community’s demand for quality education. Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute has committed itself to developing into a full-fledged institute with multi-dimensional academic research in health, education, and cultural activities.

Above all, the motto of the Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute is to work for peace, good understanding, and the development of friendship among people of different nationalities. Moving ahead with this mentality, the college has received delegations from the former G.D.R., the U.S.A., the former U.S.S.R., the U.K., India, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Japan, and Afghanistan. A note-worthy feature of its delivery system is that it is democratic in spirit and collectively responsible in practice. All the employees and candidates of Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute are individually as well as collectively responsible. Teachers and lecturers are involved in both decision-making and implementation as well. The sense of accountability in implementation has been proven to be the effective binding force of all the agencies of the Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute.

Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute offers a bachelor and intermediate-level course in management and science for students who are looking to pursue their higher studies here. Bachelor-level programs include BBS, and intermediate-level programs include Science and Technology.

Facilities

Mostly functioning as a school, Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute offers all the facilities that are available to the school students, as well as extra equipment and resources that are necessary for the students of higher education.
