About the Program

Bachelor of Information Management (BIM) course at the St. Xavier's College is affiliated with the Tribhuvan University (TU). It's a 4-year course, consisting of the total of 8 semesters. This course is a unique blend of both management and information technology. It covers all the necessary subjects that are required to make the students able to solve the real-world problems requiring managerial and IT knowledge.

Many organizations in a present context are looking for the graduates with the combination of management and IT skills. The students after the completion of this course are eligible to apply for both managerial and IT positions in an organization. They will also have lesser difficulty to go for Master degree in both IT and management.

Eligibility

Admission procedure for BIM at St. Xavier's College

To be eligible to apply for this course, a candidate must have completed at least 12 years of formal schooling with a minimum of the second division. The candidates who are eligible to apply should go through the admission procedure:

Application form: The candidates first need to fill up an application form. All the information required in an application form must be filled. During the time of submission, the candidates must provide all the copies of relevant academic certificates to the college.
Entrance and CMAT test: The candidates must appear in the entrance and CMAT test, organized by the TU and the college. It’s a must for the candidates to score well in both the examination.
Interview: The final step in getting an admission is an interview process. The candidates will be provided with the date and time for an interview with the faculty members.
