Job Details on Credit Analyst

A Credit Analyst is an individual who will access the borrower’s ability to repay the loan by determining their financial health. The credit analysts are hired mostly by banks, consulting and financial companies where lending are being facilitated. In their job they gather financial information and check the financial ratios with industry benchmarks to help the borrowers obtain the loan after careful scrutiny and analysis. They can also recommend the credit limit for a new customer as per the Company policies and based on their evaluation the underwriter grants the loan to the borrower within a time limit. On an average Credit Analyst can work between 8 to 14 hours. They may occasionally travel to inspect Companies or while working with clients financial requirements.
