Database Engineers are employed by Computer operating system Companies who design and monitor complex databases such as computer software, database technologies, programming. They manage Company’s flow of information, test data, integrate new products and software packages, and train other employees in an organization. They also review database performance and user reports.

Job responsibilities

Design and development of database system
Test database systems and fix bugs
Ensure data integrity and quality
Identify and correct database errors
Create physical and logical database as per business requirements
Prepare documents regarding database design, configuration and changes

Academic qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering with two years of relational database experience, data replication, data mitigation, user administration, back up, recovery. Working hours of Database Engineer is 40 hours per week.
