About the Program

Bachelor of Information Management (BIM) at the Nagarjuna College is affiliated with the Tribhuvan University. This course is a unique blend of management and information technology, and this course makes students able to solve managerial problems with the help of information technology. There are many experienced professionals hired by the college who are always there to guide the students throughout the course.

The Nagarjuna College has not left out any facilities that may obstruct the students to learn smoothly. There are well-equipped computer labs maintained by the college, allowing students to access to computers and the internet anytime when they require it. The students are required to complete their internship program as a part of the course, which will give them real-world exposure. The graduates have many options after the completion of this course. They can go for further studies or they can pursue their career in both management and IT field. 

The BIM program of Nagarjuna College of Information Technology is based upon the semester wise system sum to 8 (4 years) in which final grades and overall performance are to be conducted by the Faculty of Management (FOM). Nagarjuna College of Information Technology has been providing various computers based and management courses related to Database Management System, Web Technology, Computer Information System, Java Programming, Data Structure, Software Engineering and other IT related activities totaled to 126 credit hours. The candidates who want to apply for studying the BIM program, Students are required to be passed in Entrance exam conducted by the college and CMAT examination (Tribhuwan University) where the oral ability, quantitative ability and logical/thinking or answering within the student are required.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for this course, the candidates must have completed their 12 years of formal schooling. Here is the admission procedure to get the admission in the college.

• Application form: The first process is to fill up an application form. The candidate should take an application form, fill up the information, and they should provide it to the college along with the required copies of relevant documents.
• Entrance exam: The second step is an entrance exam, which is conducted by the TU. Each and every candidate must appear and score a minimum required marks to be eligible for the course.

After the completion of these steps, the faculty members go through the application and select the best candidates.
