The Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology offered by the Pokhara University is a 4-year semester-based program, focusing on producing competent human resources to work as a professional medical laboratory technician, carrying out various presentations, therapeutic, rehabilitative functions and new research. Objectives of B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology

The aim of Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory discipline is to produce educated and technically skilled clinical laboratory experts who are completely capable of performing diverse clinical laboratory tests with quality control. Some of the specific objectives of this program are listed below:

Admission Requirements in B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory program, an applicant must:

  • Hold an Intermediate in Science, +2 in Science streams-biology or PCL degree from the board or university recognized by Pokhara University
  • Have secured minimum of second division score

Admission Procedures:

In order to get admission to this program, the applicant should pass the entrance test conducted by the university.

  • Accurately filled and signed admission form
  • Photocopy/copy of certificates of SLC and +2 or intermediate level
