Nepal Government announces scholarship worth 7.39 billion to 1.5 million student aspiring beneficiaries for 2081 and 82

Government of Nepal for the fiscal year 2081/82 has Rs 7.39 billion total fund allotted for scholarship under these categories:

Residential scholarship Rs 603.2 million for 12,065 student beneficiaries

Non residential scholarship Rs 627 million for 1.54 million students

Medical Education scholarship Rs 5.11 billion for 10,594 students

Dalit scholarship Rs 210 million for 552000 students

Economically disadvantaged students Rs 15000 annually for general and Rs 21000 scholarship for technical subjects

Higher education scholarship: Rs 24000 annually for martyr family, conflict victims, free kamalaries, muslim women and disabled students

Underprivileged students: Rs 600 million in which Rs 24000 science, Rs 18000 other subjects and Rs 6000 annually

Technical Education Scholarship: Rs 59.4 million which has Rs 3500 monthly living allowance, Rs 1500 annual transportation and Rs 2000 annual clothing.
