BSc Nursing

PU Affiliated

B and B Medical Institute offers Bachelor of Science Nursing program affiliated with Purbanchal University School of Health Sciences. This program prepares nurses having managerial and technical competency to provide accessible and equitable nursing services. It is a four years program and after completion the BSc Nursing have to sit for National Licensure Exams for Nurses to practice as nurse professionals. The lessons cover broad nursing studies in health science, community nursing, adult health nursing, child nursing, mid wives, epidemiology, leadership management, educational science and advanced nursing practices which will help to provide leadership capabilities, vocational competencies, teaching learning process, and deal with problems of managerial issues and concerns.
Eligibility:
Should have passed PCL with 50 percent or minimum 2.4 CGPA or A level with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with 50 percent or 2.4 CGPA and admission test which requires at least 50 percent pass marks.

Post Basic Bachelor of Nursing

PU Affiliated

The Post Basic Bachelor in Nursing Science program at B and B Medical Institute helps to enhance the skills as professional nurses who can work in hospitals as professionals and experts. It is a three years program of Purbanchal University which provides specialized knowledge in midwifery, hospital and community nursing sectors, by providing advanced knowledge and skills such as coverage of primary health care, community health services, health systems management and research gained knowledge and skills from this program.
Eligibility:
Must have 50 percent or 2.4 CGPA in Proficiency Certificate level or Diploma level and should be registered with Nepal Nursing Council.

PCL Nursing

CTEVT Affiliated

Proficiency Certificate level course in Nursing is a three years Certificate/ Diploma course in Nursing offered by CTEVT. This program aims to produce mid-level technical nurses and workforce. They are able to meet the requirements of staff nurses for different levels of health care systems in Nepal. The lessons cover fundamentals of nursing, community health nursing, scientific application in Nursing, medical and surgical lessons, mental health and behavior, geriatric nursing, midwifery, gynecology, child health nursing areas along with management and leadership studies and behaviors observed in nursing profession and practice.
Eligibility:
Should have passed SLC/ SEE in second division 45 percent or CGPA 2.0 at least with Compulsory, English, Math and Science and pass entrance exam administered by CTEVT.

B and B Medical Institute was established in 2005 AD, located at Gwarko, Lalitpur. This institute is a pioneer in the arena of Private health care and provides quality education in Nursing education at an affordable cost. This medical institute provides Post Basic Bachelor(3 years) and Bachelor (4 years) studies in Nursing offered by Purbanchal University. PCL Staff Nurse program is also run at B and B Institute under the affiliation of the Council of Technical Education and Vocational Training. Total number of seats available in all three programs is 110 seats. To date, 826 students have graduated from B and B Medical and are working as Professional Nurses at reputed Clinics, Hospitals, and teaching lines.
