Bishwobhasa Campus

Bishwobhasa Campus is one of the oldest and most renowned language-teaching colleges in Nepal. Bishwobhasa is located at Pardashani Marga, Kathmandu. Currently, the institution offers two language programs— the Himalayan Language Program, which includes Nepali, Sanskrit, Newari, Tibetan, and the Foreign Language Plan which includes classes in Italian, Russian, Spanish, French, German, and English. However, the college is planning to introduce Danish, Arabic, Hebrew, and Norwegian soon.

Bishwobhasa Campus has well-trained and experienced faculty members that include Nepalese as well as foreign nationalities. Bishwobhasa has native speakers to teach Himalayan whereas foreign speech is taught either by Nepalese teachers or by international native speakers of the respective mother tongue. Himalayan is offered only to non-Nepalese students. 

Principal Message

Welcome to Bishwobhasa Campus. It is the only college in Gurkha offering academic and non-academic speech courses and has Nepali and international students studying each other's mother tongue. We have a multi-cultural atmosphere of learning and produce human resources who are capable of speaking and communicating in different mother tongues. We have a fully equipped audio-visual library for modern induced methods for learning foreign tongues and using them correctly.
