Objectives of Pre-Diploma in Ayurveda

The program's objective is to furnish trainees with Ayurvedic skills and principles, enabling their competence in utilizing these attributes for preventing, curing, and promoting human health, alongside preserving well-being.

Admission Requirements in Pre-Diploma in Ayurveda

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Completion of SEE or equivalent.
  • Successful CTEVT entrance exam.
  • Merit-based final selection.

Document Submission:

  • SEE pass and character certificates.
  • Citizenship proof for personal details.
  • Special quotas based on CTEVT policy.
  • Priority for female, Dalit, Janajati, Conflict-affected, and Disadvantaged Groups (DAGs).

Career and Scope

On graduating from this course, students will be able to:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Aayu, Ayurveda, its historical evolution, and foundational concepts.
  • Acquire knowledge about human anatomy and physiology.
  • Gain proficiency in aiding and conducting general physical examinations.
  • Familiarize oneself with  Dravyaguna-Vigyan, its fundamental tenets, and the identification of prevalent medicinal plants.
  • Cultivate familiarity with essential Ayurvedic and allopathic medications accessible within health posts and sub-health posts.

Upon completion of the program, the graduate qualifies for enrollment with the Nepal Ayurveda Medical Council or registration with the Nepal Health Professional Council, corresponding to the specified grade outlined in the respective Council's Act. Additionally, the graduate gains eligibility to pursue further studies, including a Certificate in Medical Science (Ayurveda and General Medicine).
