Every year Tribhuvan University Institute of Science and technology conducts a Bachelor of Information Technology entrance examination. It is mandatory to study in this program from T.U. related Bachelor of Information Technology Colleges in Nepal.

Mode of Exam

Exam type: Multiple choice questions (objective type paper-based test)

Full marks: 100

Pass marks: 35

Areas of exam:

• English 50 marks
• Mathematics/Computer Science 50 marks

By any chance if candidates secure equal marks in entrance exam, then priority will be given to marks secured in Math/Computer Science subjects and if equal marks is secured then priority will be given to marks in English subject.

Eligibility

Passed Proficiency certificate level or equivalent exam with pass marks and second division in Math, English or Computers

 Or

Passed Grade 12 from secondary school but studies English/ Math or Computer subject of 100 marks each and secured at least C GPA 1.6 and final with CGPA 1.8

Or

Passed A level with English and Mathematics or Computer Science and secured D grade with or without small letter

Or 

Passed three years Diploma in second division from CTEVT by studying English, math, Computer Science of 100 marks each
