Gandaki College of Engineering and Science

Gandaki College of Engineering and Science was established in 2003 in the western region of Nepal. It is affiliated with Pokhara University and has been successfully running programs for bachelor’s and master’s with good grades. It is a non-profit organization. It has highly dedicated, talented, experienced, and qualified faculty members who are on their way to providing quality education and showing the path of success to the students. Proper supervision and guidance are provided to every student so that they can perform well in their academic programs and future as well. 

Gandaki College of Engineering and Science provides Bachelor in Software Engineering Program (BESE) with a bachelor's degree and a Master of Science in Information Systems in master's degree. It is located at Lamachaur, Pokhara in a peaceful and friendly environment.

Scholarships at Gandaki College of Engineering and Science

Being a non-profit organization, this instituition has been awarding scholarships to bright, economically disadvantaged but intelligent students every year.

Academic awards are presented to those performing well in entrance examinations and previous academic records. Students with less than a 3 GPA score are not eligible for applying scholarship scheme at Gandaki College.

Facilities

• The main attraction would be a library where all the academic textbooks are available along with journals and magazines in a clean and spacious area.
• Computer labs are well equipped maintaining software and hardware to advance configurations.
• Extra-curricular activities are performed related to sports and cultural programs. This academy provides a sports field where basketball, football, volleyball, badminton, cricket, and table tennis can be played.
• Cultural programs are organized for singing, dancing, poetry, drama, and many more. College picnics, industrial visits, workshops, and annual programs are organized as well by this academy.
• Internal assessments, regular assignments, and presentations are given in order to make them capable of appearing in board examinations.
• Transportation and canteen facility is also available.
• Seminars and software competitions are held inside and outside Gandaki premises to make further advancements in studying patterns as software study needs more practice and advanced knowledge.
• Gandaki College provides hostel facilities for students residing outside Pokhara.

Admission Procedure:

The admission procedure for Gandaki College of Engineering and Science are as follows:

• Interested candidates should have passed their plus two or equivalent level in Science with a minimum of second division. The biology group can also apply but should have passed 100 marks in mathematics.
• Entrance is taken by the university where students should prepare for physics and mathematics of class 11 and English plus two levels.
• Candidates should have passed software engineering in their bachelor’s with a minimum of the second division for applying to the master’s program at Gandaki College of Engineering and Science.
• Candidates will be selected for admission who have passed on the basis of merit list.
