Gauri Shanker Campus Dolkha

Gaurishankar Multiple Campus was established in 2038 B.S., and it is the first public campus in Dolakha District. It has helped a lot of students who cannot afford to go to urban areas to gain higher education degrees. As Gaurishankar Multiple Campus is a public campus, the fees are very nominal, and the facilities are up to adequate standards for completing the courses. It offers plus two bachelor- and master-level programs. Soon, it is planned to add a master of education in English and Nepali. It is affiliated with the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) for plus two and Tribhuvan University (TU) for bachelor and master levels. Gaurishankar Multiple Campus has experienced and dedicated teachers.

Besides +2 levels in Management, Humanities, and Education, this college provides bachelor's degrees in B.Ed., BA, and BBS and master’s degrees in Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Planning and Management (EPM).

Facilities

Gaurishankar Multiple Campus has a huge area that includes six buildings and a playground. Four buildings are used to run classes: one is for the library, and the other is for administration purposes. It also has a computer lab, seminar hall, canteen, and sports field. Sports activities like volleyball, table tennis, football, badminton, and basketball can be played. Gaurishankar Multiple Campus also organizes sports competitions, annual programs, poetry, speech, cultural, and many other competitions as well. Educational tours, picnics, and visits are conducted regularly. Academic activities include monthly tests and term tests, which will help students get better marks in board examinations. Gaurishankar Multiple Campus has a peaceful and friendly environment.

Scholarships at Gauri Shanker Campus

A score over 85% in SLC will get a full scholarship, and a score less than that will get a partial scholarship in the plus two level. A minimum of a first-division score is required to get a partial scholarship.

Entrance, board toppers, and distinction holders in plus two levels will get a full scholarship in the bachelor level. A partial scholarship of one year is provided to yearly toppers. And the same goes for the master’s program.

Some seats are also reserved for needy and deserving students in every level of course.

Admission Procedure

• For plus-two levels, interested candidates must complete the SLC level.
• For bachelor level, interested candidates must complete plus two or equivalent levels recognized by TU in any streams for BA and B.Ed. BBS courses can be applied to science and management stream students.
• For the master level, interested candidates must complete the bachelor level in any streams recognized by TU with a minimum of 45%.
