IEC College of Art and Fashion

IEC College of Art and Fashion was established in 1997. IEC is the first college in Nepal that provides education in fashion and interior design. It is affiliated with the Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, a highly recognized university with affiliations in more than 150 countries and students of over 30,000 across Africa, Asia, and Europe. Limkokwing University is situated in Malaysia. It has received an award of INTERNATIONAL GOLD AWARD (USA). The institution is growing by times more since its establishment from seven years by the intellectual mind of Shailaja Adhikari. It is ISO 9001:200 certified institution. Since its establishment, IEC has become the number one academy in Nepal in Art and Fashion. This academy has been awarded various national and international awards.

IEC provides bachelor’s degree programs in fashion and retailing and interior architecture commonly known as BA (HONS) in Fashion and Retailing and BA in Interior Architecture.

Scholarships at IEC College of Art and Fashion

Scholarships are provided to the needy and deserving candidates. The aptitude test result also enhances in getting the scholarship if higher masks are achieved.

• Computer labs with the latest software and hardware are provided and will be able to run the latest software available for Photoshop, Animation, and Multimedia.
• Fashion and textile labs are the most important facility provided as the lab emulates real-world working experience within the college area. Design studio helps in designing creative ideas.
• Transport facility is also provided along with canteen.
• Industrial visits are organized regularly to be constantly aware of the present scenario of the market.
• Sports facilities are also included to freshen up the minds with a basketball court, table tennis, and snooker house.

Admission Procedure

Interested candidates are eligible for the course if they have completed plus two or equivalent courses of any stream. An aptitude test is taken before the admission process and payment is done semester-wise at IEC College.
