Career and Scope
The scope of Ph.D. The biotechnology program is discussed below:
Biological technology is a rapidly growing field with a significant impact on various aspects of life and improving living standards. Ph.D. graduates in Biotechnology can find employment opportunities in industries related to:
- Chemicals
- Pharmaceuticals
- Food and Beverages
- Plant and Animal Biotechnology
Other career options include working in various fields:
- Forensics
- Disease diagnosis
- Therapy
- Education
- Environmental protection bodies
Graduates can also seek core research roles in national and international pharmaceutical organizations. There are various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) devoted to agriculture, plants, and animals that provide senior-level positions to Ph.D. candidates. Academic professions in colleges and universities as instructors and professors are also feasible.
Graduates may also pursue jobs as biotechnologists overseas, exploiting their skills in foreign contexts. Bioinformatics provides a wide range of professional opportunities, and Ph.D. graduates may help improve the industry's research, development, and innovation.
