Overview
Kathmandu University offers an undergraduate program, Bachelor in Engineering in Chemical Engineering, which provides knowledge of chemical processing and technologies, analyzes and solves real-world problems using computational tools and techniques, and designs safe, sustainable, and economic engineering systems for large-scale processing operations. It allows you to get real-world experience in organizations that carry chemical engineering jobs with internship placements. The course borrows academic knowledge from disciplines of basic science, engineering, humanities, and core chemical engineering courses.
Admission Requirements in Bachelor in Chemical Engineering
In order to be eligible to apply for this course, the candidates must have completed their plus 2 degrees in science or equivalent with a score of a minimum of 50%. The eligible candidates must go through the systematic admission procedure.
- Online Application Form: The first step of getting an admission is to fill out the online application form, and the application processing fee is Rs. 1250, which they must deposit in the bank account as provided by the university. Along with an application, the candidates must provide all the relevant copies of their academic certificates, 3 PP photos, and citizenship card. The candidates have the option to choose any two programs of their choice.
- Computer-Based Test: The second step is to appear on a computer-based test. It's a crucial entrance exam, and the candidates must score good marks to be considered for admission.
After the completion of these procedures, the faculty members select the 30 best candidates for the course.
Eligibility
Must have completed Class 12 or intermediate level in science with 50 percent in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and pass a computer-based test and interview round.
