Kathmandu University offers Bachelor in Civil Engineering program to develop and maintain physical infrastructures and meet the developmental challenges. This program is the oldest discipline of the engineering profession.  It provides knowledge and skill of design, construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, dams, canals and buildings.

Objectives of Bachelor in Civil Engineering

The students after the completion of Bachelor in Civil Engineering degree have various options. They can either pursue their career in various constructions and other projects that require them to plan the structure or they can opt for the master degree either in Nepal or abroad. This course covers all the necessary knowledge for making students able to plan, design, and work on various projects. Admission Requirements in Bachelor in Civil Engineering

In order to be eligible for Bachelor in Civil Engineering course, the candidates are required to complete their plus 2 degrees with science or equivalent with a minimum score of 50%. The eligible applicants are required to follow the systematic admission procedure.

  • Application form: The first step is filling an online application form. They must pay Rs. 1200 as an application processing fee in one of the banks mentioned by the university. They must submit the entire relevant academic certificates, citizenship copy, and 3 PP photos.
  • Computer Based Test: This is a very important process of getting an entry. They must try to score very good marks to be considered for acceptance.

After the evaluation of all the applicants, the faculty members will select the best candidates from the pool.
