Overview

Kathmandu University School of Law offers a Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Law five-year program. This program prepares graduates who are qualified for membership in the bar to practice in the law field of Nepal. This program provides a competitive edge in the business sector with knowledge of the law to enhance productivity. It provides knowledge of legal and management skills, where one understands the social impact of law, the interrelation between strategic management, human resource management, and operations management, and allows business ethics and social responsibility in management policy and practice. This program prepares in-house lawyers in the civil and other industrial sectors.

Admission Requirements in Bachelor of Business Management and Bachelor of Law

Eligibility and admission procedure

The students who have completed their 12 years of formal schooling, securing at least 50% or 2 CGPA with a degree recognized by the Kathmandu University is eligible to apply for this course. The admission procedures for the eligible students are as follows:

  1. Application form: The first task for the candidate is to download an application form and submit Rs.1, 500 for the application form as an application processing fee. The candidates are required to submit all the relevant academic certificates along with other government documents to the college at the time of submission of the form.
  2. Entrance exam: The second step is to appear in an entrance exam, Kathmandu Law School Admission Test, conducted by the university, and it’s a compulsion for the candidates. The candidates must do well in this exam to be considered for an admission for this degree.

The candidates will be carefully reviewed by the panel members, and the best candidates will be selected among the rest.
