Overview

Kathmandu University Department of Architecture offers a Bachelor of Architecture program. It is five years program that provides knowledge and meets the requirements of built environment that is sustainable, eco-friendly, and aesthetic. It allows to creation of modern human settlements in cultural, social, and geographical context. It also allows project work for creating green and sustainable building design, landscaping, and rural architecture, mountain environment-based designs. It also considers building science, building materials, architectural drawing, surveying, design studio, entrepreneurship, along with professional practice and building regulations.

Objectives of Bachelor of Architecture

The main objective of Bachelor of Architecture program is to focus on sustainable designs of buildings, landscaping and outdoor architectures on mountainous regions.

Admission Requirements in Bachelor of Architecture

Must appear and pass the Kathmandu University Common Admission test and have the required threshold score to be eligible for admissions.

Eligibility

Must have passed Plus2 with 50 percent marks aggregate and 50 percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, or Minimum 2.4 GPA aggregate and minimum C+ in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and C grade in others. Those with the +2 Biology stream must have taken additional mathematics and passed in PCM with 50 percent or a 2.4 GPA
