Overview
Kathmandu University offers a four year Bachelor of Aviation Management program. It is a 120 credit hours program which provides skill and knowledge of operations of aviation, airlines and airports efficiently. It includes aviation law and regulations, aviation safety and security, airport planning and management, air traffic control, airline operation, aviation finance and economics, human resource management, aviation marketing and sales. It also provides practical training in aviation management for meeting real world challenges. It develops skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, communication skills and entrepreneurial abilities also.
Objectives
- To provide foudantional knowledge in airport management, air transport, aviation operations, and airline business.
- To develop professional aviation competent with strong leadership, decision making, problem solving skills which is suited for the global aviation industry.
- To upgrade safety observance, ethical values, and regulatory compliance in aviation management.
- To boost research, critical thinking, and innovation for managing difficulties in the dynamic aviation sector
- To prepare students for varied paths aviation regulatory bodies, airlines, aviation logistics, airports and support services.
Admission Requirements
Eligibility
- Completion of +2 or equivalent in Science, Management, or any other stream with minimum 2.0 GPA.
- Mathematics or Business Mathematics must have passed in 11 or 12 Grade.
- Minimum 'C' Grade should have secured in English at +2 level.
- Applicants should pass entrance exam from KUSAAT (Kathmandu University School of Arts Admission Test.
Fee Structure
The total tuition fee in Bachelor of Aviation Management is approximately NPR 915,000 for the entire four year duration.
