Overview
Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. It is a four-year program that prepares competent nurses to work independently or collaboratively with multidisciplinary health team members to provide care for humans from preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative aspects of health. It develops leadership and research abilities, education skills to be able to heal human illness, and the ability to provide nursing education, administration, and research.

Admission Requirements in Bachelor of Science in Nursing
To be eligible for the Bachelor of Nursing program at KU, a minimum of 50 percent marks must be obtained. The evaluation of the nursing entrance exam includes negative marking of -0.25 for each wrong answer. The required documents for application are transcripts, a character certificate from Plus 2/SEE, and a copy of your citizenship, passport, and admit card. Eligibility criteria include a certificate or diploma in health science in general medicine, medical lab technology, or ophthalmic science, as well as A levels with subjects in physics, chemistry, and biology.
