Objectives

The objectives of BE in Mechanical Engineering degree for students are asfollows:

  1. Enrich the undergraduate experience through experiential learning and international study opportunities.
  2. Provide a solid foundation and understanding of the fundamental principles of both the thermal-fluids and mechanical systems aspects of mechanical engineering.
  3. Offers opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary design teams and develop and practice written and oral communication skills.
  4. Provides opportunities to design mechanical engineering systems, components, and processes to meet specific needs and constraints in select courses throughout the educational degree.

Admission Requirements

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the course, candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in ISc, 10+2, or an equivalent examination. Additionally, they should have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science.
