Overview
Kathmandu University School of Science offers a Master of Science in pharmaceutical science by research to provide highly competent pharmacy graduates. This program provides existing pharmacy practices in public and private sector organizations with continued education and training programs. It provides assistance to pharmaceutical and related organizations to solve existing problems from the consulting area of service.
Objectives of MS by Research (Pharmaceutical Sciences)
Objectives
- To acquire skills and knowledge to plan, perform, and interpret pharmacometric analyses with the goal of influencing key drug development, regulatory, and therapeutic decisions.
- to provide educational facilities to students for careers in the pharmacy profession.
- to study and strengthen the existing pharmacy practices in the private and public sector organizations through continuing education and training programs.
- to assist pharmaceutical and related organizations in solving their problems by providing consultancy services.
Admission Requirements in MS by Research (Pharmaceutical Sciences)
The candidate must submit a research proposal and get approval from a faculty member who is willing to supervise. Must fulfill entrance exam or interview requirement for the department (School of Science) for selection.
Eligibility
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related discipline such as biological science, material science, chemical engineering, with 2 CGPA out of 4.0 or 50 percent aggregate marks.
