Lalitpur Engineering College (LEC) in affiliation with Tribhuwan University is one of the top engineering colleges in Nepal. It was established in 2010 A.D. with a prime motive of rendering outstanding support and education to all aspiring candidates. It is located at Chakupat, Patan Dhoka in Lalitpur. With maximum numbers of youths flocking to India and abroad for higher education, a group of experienced professionals and educationists came forward to deliver a world-class syllabus and job-oriented education with practical teaching pedagogy in the Nepalese education system and set up the foundation for higher studies in an engineering discipline.

Lalitpur Engineering College aims in producing competent and proficient engineers as per the needs of the modern world of advancement and technology and who can stand amongst world-class professionals globally. LEC emphasizes modern approaches to teaching and implies practically that will help get exposure and confidence. LEC consists of highly dedicated and experienced teachers and instructors with many years of practice and experience in their respective fields. Academy provides a proper learning environment and guidance to be able to deal with the problems of the real world scenario and also to become responsible citizens of the global community.

One of the primary objectives of LEC is to offer realistic and practical training to its students and conduct diverse research programs and developmental works in the engineering and technological sector.

For the time being, Lalitpur Engineering College only offers undergraduate courses in Civil Engineering, B.E. Civil.
