Principal Message

In order to provide nursing study programs to students for the first time, Nursing Campus was established in 2013 under the name of Surendra Bhawan Nursing School. It relocated from Chhetrapati to Mahabouddha and was renamed Mahabouddha Nursing School. In 2028, under the New Education System, nursing school was incorporated into the Institute of Medicine of Tribhuvan University for intermediate level nursing and then renamed Mahabouddha Nursing Campus. In 2033, it commenced a bachelor-level program. The new building was built under the Japanese government with furniture and equipment. This campus is near the modern, well-facilitated T.U. hospital, and students can get theoretical and practical knowledge. From 1972–73, it further expanded from an intermediate nursing program to bachelor, master, and PhD programs. I express my gratitude to all the students, concerned teachers, and employees of Maharajgunj Nursing Campus.

Prof. Muna Rana Thapa

Campus Chief.
