This program produces competent, knowledgeable, skillful dental health care professionals to provide preventive, curative and promotive dental health care. The study of Bachelor of Dental Surgery engrains integrated basic medical science, clinical medical science, clinical dental science, and mandatory one-year rotating internship. This program provides holistic knowledge in practice of modern dentistry. It allows us to identify common dental health problems and educate people on oral health care. It focuses on studies of general medicine, forensic medicine, orthodontics, pedodontics, prosthodontics, conservative and endodontics, oral surgery, periodontics and community dentistry study in this program.
PCL(Certificate in Dental Science)
CTEVT AffiliatedMB Kedia Dental College offers a three years Certificate in Dental Science Dental Hygiene program of CTEVT. This program aims to provide middle level health care professionals to work as dental assistants at hospital and clinical settings. In these studies, the base year is basic science and foundation subjects, then dental science and practical, and practice work in hospitals and clinics. This program provides skills of performing diagnosis, scaling, of common periodontal disease, conserving the tooth to maximum possible extent, performing dental x-rays and photography, refer patients to specialist care from dental surgeons or doctors and also be able to provide extended services.
MB Kedia Dental College is situated in Birgunj, Parsa. It was established in 2006 and is known to be a pioneer dental College of this region. It runs Bachelor of Dental Surgery affiliated to Tribhuvan University and Nepal Medical Council. Admission Procedure
Interested candidates should complete their higher secondary level from recognized institution by TU in science stream in biology subject with a minimum of 50% or C+ Grade in aggregate to get admission at MB Kedia Dental College.
