Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery

This program prepares Ayurveda health care givers such as medical officer, doctors who can provide Ayurveda health services in Nepal. It provides knowledge and skills from a combination of Ayurvedic principles, modern medical sciences, herbal medicine and therapeutic techniques. It also gives understanding of Ayurveda, Allopathy, Naturopathy, Yoga.
Mithila Ayurveda College and research center is situated in Janakpur Dhanusha. It is a public institution affiliated to Nepal Sanskrit University and accredited by Nepal Ayurvedic Medical Council. It offers Bachelor program in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery program which is five and half years programm, with one year of rotating internship.
