The Post Basic Bachelor in Nursing (PBN)is a three-year degree provided by the Purbanchal University. The course curriculum is designed to generate professional nurses with the specialty in Psychiatric, hospital, midwifery as well as in the field of community nursing.

The Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) nursing is a course of study which is applicable for SEE (10^th Grade) graduates. The PCL Nursing program is equivalent to the high school (+2) and is a famous, professional and universally acknowledged practical training based on scientific course.

The characteristic of PCL Nursing is sensitive, preventive, curative, disciplinary and vocational. The main objective of the course is to produce highly skilled and professional nurses for the development of the nation in health sector. The PCL Nursing is high in demand as a career option in both private as well as governmental organization. The students can get the job after attaining a certification as a registered nurse from Nepal Nursing Council(NNC).

The PCL Nursing course is designed to give the knowledge and skills which focuses on the occupation related to nursing which is carried out by intermediate level nurses.

The duration of the course is three years. This course is affiliated to CTEVT (Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training).
