Nepal College of Development Studies

Nepal College of Development studies was established in 2007 in Shankhamul, Kathmandu. It is owned by Sutra Centre for Development Education and affiliated to Tribhuvan University. It has functions in areas of academics, research and extension activities which benefits the surrounding communities. It provides opportunity for students to experience real life practical models from the academic programs. The offered program is Bachelor of Arts in Social work and rural development. The course has practicum with social work training, educational excursion to understand rural societies besides academic knowledge of social work and rural development theories. Nepal College of Development studies is well facilitated, well equipped to support the education needs with training and skill development of each students from highly proficient and experienced educators with professional knowledge and experience in social work programs.
