Nicholson College (HSS)

Nicholson HSS/ College is a private and English medium institute which has been established by the Sydney University. The college is named after Sir Charles Nicholson the donor for the establishment of this college. Nicholson HSS/ College is affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU) and Higher Secondary Educational Board (HSEB) of Nepal. This college was established to commit the quality education in management program under BBS and ten plus-two level. Nicholson HSS/College has developed the extra infrastructure to performance new programs as per the need of the students and parents. It helps to draw attention to become the center of learning for young, energetic and progressive students who decide to face the challenges created by the changing world.

The main goal of Nicholson HSS/College is to show the way and make students confident, industrious, self-discipline and the leaders of the society. The vision of this institute is to maintain the lead in the educational center. And make students know about them spiritually, physically and socially and help them become a responsible citizen.

Academic Program

Ten plus-two in Management(+2 in Management)

This program is affiliated to Higher Secondary Educational Board (HSEB) and is of a two-year program. Nicholson College only has management subjects, as management is highly valued subjects around the world education. This course offers both theoretical and practical knowledge. This is the base for various other subjects like Business Management, Business Administration, Hotel Management, Travel and Tourism Management. To be eligible for this program the candidates must have SLC/SEE passed out degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

Bachelor in Business Studies (BBS)

This program is affiliated to Tribhuvan University (TU). This program is of four-year time to develop the students into the competent world. With affiliation to Tribhuvan University (TU), the main curriculum is based on fundamental business principles.  The teachers at Nicholson College are dedicated to their time and energy to make students more focused on their study. To join this program, the candidates must have ten plus-two passed out certificates with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from any reputable University/ Board.

Sports

As Nicholson HSS/College believes that the overall development of the individuals, different sports-related activities are timely organized throughout the year. As the continuous focus on study brings the tiredness in mind, different activities are organized timely.

Canteen

The canteen foods are fresh and hygienic. As the college canteen is inside the college premise, the food is served at a reasonable price.

E-library

 All the books are well-managed and systematically managed and have the easy access to the books. The college is in collaboration with It company and has launched a standard web-based Library Management System called nLiverRary. With this web-based facility graduates and staffs can have easy and every information in just a single click from anywhere.

Other Facilities

College management staffs are planning to provide the transportation facility to the students at a reasonable price. A different function like a welcome program, social work program are timely organized to make them show their skills and learn from these programs.
