Om Mahavidyalaya

Om Mahavidyalaya is located at Chandrapur, Rautahat. Chandrapur is a municipality in the Rautahat district of southern Nepal. There are many private and public schools and colleges, and out of that Om Mahavidyalaya is one of the public colleges in that area. As this place has better education facilities local people do not have to go outside the town for their education. This College is successfully running a Bachelor level program and offering BA, B.Ed, and BBS programs.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMS:

Bachelor of Arts:

Om Mahavidyalaya provides a three-year program of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science under Tribhuvan University. This course is intended to give students both practical and theoretical knowledge. As BA is a wide range of courses different subjects like Sociology, Culture, Economics, Major English, Mathematics, etc are taught. To be eligible for this course students must have completed their intermediate level or ten plus-two(+2) from Tribhuvan University or any other board recognized by TU.

Bachelor of Education:

The four-year Bachelor of Education program conducted by TU is a yearly-based system. Students must have completed the Higher Secondary Education Examination Pass Certificate (HSEEPC) or Proficiency Certificate Level (PCL) of Tribhuvan University to be eligible for admission in the B.Ed program at Om Mahavidyalaya.

Bachelor of Business Studies:

Om Mahavidyalaya offers a four-year BBS program and students who are willing to apply for the BBS program must have completed the plus two(10+2) in business/ commerce or an equivalent course from an HSEB (Higher Secondary School Board) or from Tribhuvan University(TU) or any other Board recognized by TU.
