Overview

Pokhara University offers a Master of Philosophy in English program of one year and six months duration. This program prepares qualified academicians with philosophical and theoretical knowledge in the English language along with practical skills in related research areas. It provides lessons in areas of cultural studies, philosophy, ethnic and identity studies, and international relations. It also allows you to delve deep into the areas of globalization, conflict transformation, gender, and environment. Objectives of MPhil English

The objectives of pursuing this course are as follows:

  • As the students will study courses like philosophy, international relations, ethnic and identity studies, and cultural studies, the primary purpose of this program is to educate students with core English for the advancement and social building of worldwide English.

Admission Requirements in MPhil English

To pursue the MPhil degree, a student requires a master's degree, which can be in any field. Notice for confirmation is openly announced. Applicants are required to take the entrance exam conducted by Pokhara University. The college also provides scholarships to the deserving candidates as per the provision of Pokhara University.
