The International Public Sector Accounting Standard Board is an entity that develops accounting standards and guidance. It was initiated to strengthen public financial Management globally. It follows open and transparent due process. It is administered by a team of technical advisors and followers of the Public Interest Committee to ensure that the standard setting of the International Public Sector Accounting Standard Board’s activities is in the public interest. The objectives of this accounting body are:
Developing and maintaining International public sector accounting standards and high-quality financial reporting guidance for the public sector and
Raising awareness and emphasis on accrual systems of accounting adoption and practices
This education and training have also begun in Nepal from NCA College of Management which is one of the best performing ACCA and licensed CBE centers.
