Overview

Purbanchal University Faculty of Management offers a Bachelor of Business Administration program. It is four years of eight semesters of 120 credit hours. This program provides knowledge of managing business functions in the organizational unit of enterprise. It allows to examine areas of national and international issues, integrate ideas, thoughts, and views from various sources, and enrich with aptitude and competitiveness to prepare for challenge in life
and professional career. It provides 360-degree views of enterprise management from areas of e-commerce, operations and supply chain management, international business, project management, financial institution management, human resources, marketing, and communications management. It also prepares global standard middle-level managers with new insight and high morale.

Objectives of Bachelor of Business Administration

The main objectives of Bachelors of Business Administration course are:

  • To produce well qualified and modern entrepreneurs who can handle business organizations properly all by themselves.
  • This course also helps to impart leadership qualities and confidence to effectively control organization in the ever-changing environment.
  • This course helps to produce up-to-date, assertive and competitive executives for business.
  • To carve students with skills who can work fluently and effectively without any difficulties for fulfilling a task.
  • This course also helps to develop entrepreneur skills within the students and also provides a plat form for them to pursue their higher education in business studies from any university here in Nepal or abroad. 

Admission Requirements in Bachelor of Business Administration

The minimum requirements to be fulfilled by the students for pursuing Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program under Purbanchal University are as follows:

  • Candidates must have completed +2 in management, arts, science or an equivalent stream from a recognized institution securing a minimum of 1.8 CGPA
  • Furthermore, students must clear the entrance exam conducted by Purbanchal University with at least 40% marks in order to be eligible for admission in BBA

Eligibility

The required eligibilities for BBA are:

  • Passed 10+2 or equivalent (like PCL) from a recognised board.
  • Minimum 40% aggregrate required but some of the colleges may ask for 45%.
  • Must pass PU's entrance exam and interview.
  • Needs a citizenship copy, character certificate and transcripts.
