Overview

Purbanchal University offers a four-year Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. This program will provide knowledge of power electronics, communication and signal processing, electromagnetics, solid-state devices, digital systems, and controls. This program will give skills and technical expertise to design circuits for smartphones and computers, develop electric power systems for buildings and cities, and develop wireless communication network connectivity and main modern civilizations. It will also give knowledge to test and analyze electric and electronic devices, systems, subsystems, and machines and develop renewable energy sources like solar and wind power.

Objectives of Bachelor of Electrical Engineering

The major objectives of this course are :

  • To make the students able to design and perform experiments.
  • To provide students with good communication skills.
  • To make the students familiar with the uses of modern electrical tools and techniques.
  • Teach the ability to solve various electrical engineering related problems.
  • Make students able to come up with new ideas and new technologies that touch human life in a positive way.
  • Develop the lifelong skills in the related field by adopting different engineering methods.
  • Produce professional electrical engineers.

Admission Requirements in Bachelor of Electrical Engineering

There is a procedure to be followed by students in order to get admission in this program. They are listed below:

  • The candidate must have to pass higher secondary examination acquiring at least 50% in order to apply for this program.
  • The candidate must have to appear in the written entrance examination conducted by the Purbanchal University.
  • After the publication of merit list, the qualified candidates must have to face an interview.
  • After the interview, only selected students will be eligible for the admission.

Candidates must have to submit the following documents for admission:-

  • Mark sheet of SLC and Character Certificate.
  • Transcripts and Certificates of Higher Secondary of I. SC. or Diploma in Engineering or of any equivalent degree recognized by Purbanchal University.
  • Citizenship Certificate.
