Overview
Purbanchal University offers a Bachelor of Fashion Design and Management program of four years academic duration. This program provides knowledge of creative, innovative, international standard curriculum with theory and practical and technical aspects of fashion design. This program will provide skills in sketching, patterns, draping, embroidery, cloth construction, apparel design, textile design analysis, and computer-aided design constructions. It also covers the business aspect of the fashion market, from merchandising, entrepreneurship, marketing, photography, and journalism to fashion shows of ready-made apparel.
Objectives of Bachelor of Fashion Design

Admission Requirements in Bachelor of Fashion Design
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants should have passed +2 level from recognized university or board with a minimum of 35% out of 100%. Students from any stream may join BFD.
Application Procedure:
While applying for the admission, applicant must submit the following documents:
- Accurately filled and signed application form
- Official certificates of SEE and +2 level and
- Two recently taken passport size photos
Entrance Test:
Candidates should pass the entrance test conducted by the academy. Test is taken in the following subjects
