Bachelor of Interior Design (BID) is basically a three years academic program, which is offered by the Purbanchal University (P.U) of Nepal. This bachelor level program gives the comprehensive understanding of every aspect of designing, from balance to emphasis, proportion, and movement. It offers a balanced range of theoretical, experimental, communication, intellectual along with every essential skill required to function efficiently & effectively in the professional life. It covers courses like Furniture Design, History of Interior, Design Modeling, Visual Arts, Photography, Lighting & Acoustics, Color, Interior Landscaping as well as Costing and Estimating.

Students willing to this program must have to complete +2 levels in any stream from board/ university recognized by the Purbanchal University. They must have to secure second division in the exam conducted by the board in order to apply for this bachelor degree course. After the completion of +2 examinations, candidates must have to appear in the entrance test conducted by the Purbanchal University (P.U) and attend the group discussion as well as they have to face the interview with the director of college.
