Overview

Purbanchal University offers a two-year Executive Master of Business Administration program. The EMBA is a 69-credit-hour program that is designed for working professionals and executives. This program provides comprehensive business knowledge and skills to demonstrate leadership roles in senior management and executive positions, handle complex business challenges, open communication and negotiation skills, have strong collaboration with teams of organizations, and plan and make decisions under uncertainty. The learnings of the EMBA program are based on peer learning, case studies, project work, exams, assignments, and industrial visits to observe business operations firsthand.

Objectives of Executive Master of Business Administration

Admission Requirements in Executive Master of Business Administration

Candidates interested in pursuing an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree must have to complete a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any stream from the board or university recognized by Purbanchal University. Candidates with a first division in bachelor's should have at least one year of work experience, and candidates with more than 40% but less than 60% should have at least two years of work experience. They should face an interview as well.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission:

Candidates interested in pursuing an EMBA must have completed a bachelor's degree or any equivalent degree from the board/university/colleges recognized by Purbanchal University.
Candidates must have to obtain at least 40% or a 2.00 CGPA in the final exam of a bachelor's degree or in any equivalent level.
Candidates with a first division in a bachelor's degree must have at least one year of work experience, and candidates with more than 40% but less than 60% must have at least two years of work experience.
Candidates must appear in the entrance test conducted by the Purbanchal University and then face the personal interview.
The candidate must have completed sixty-nine credit hours.

Required Documents for Admission:

Duly filled and signed application form.
Official certificates of SLC and +2 or of any equivalent level.
Two recent PP-size photographs.

Selection Procurers:

Selection is made on the basis of the candidate’s past academic performance, score obtained in the entrance test, and performance in interviews & group discussions.

Eligibility for EMBA

You are eligible for an EMBA program at Purbanchal University if you have a bachelor's degree from a recognized program with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or 45% and at least 2 years of work experience. Some programs also require a specific entrance exam score.
