Overview

Purbanchal University offers a five-year Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Law (BA LLB) from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science School of Development and Social Engineering. This program provides compulsory courses and elective courses in law. It imparts legal education matching international standards relevant to societal needs. It provides broad knowledge on the content of national law, international law, business and real estate law, family law, human rights law, and political law, along with interdisciplinary social science fields. This program will provide competency to succeed in legal employment. It prepares human resources in the legal profession, like lawyers, public officials, paralegals, compliance officers, auditors, and consultants, to handle legal cases of families, firms, and estates. It will give the knowledge to critically think, analyze problems, pursue logical arguments, and solve disputes and issues that involve citizens rights from the arenas of constitutional, criminal, environmental and development, and business law fields. 

Objectives of BA LLB

The BA LLB program aims to produce intellectual graduates with academic and professional skills needed to function in diverse settings. Some of the specific objectives of LLB program for the students are listed below:

Admission Requirements in BA LLB

Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be eligible to apply for admission in BA LLB, applicants should have passed +2 level in any steam with a minimum 2,0 GPA or minimum C Grade in all subjects. They need to face an entrance exam conducted by the Purbanchal University (PU) and participate in the orientation class.
